What is The Good Work?

The Good Work is a virtual private practice therapy business that provides therapeutic service including therapy and consulting

What does "The Good Work" mean?

“The Good Work” is founded on the idea that participating in therapy is the good work for yourself where you learn to prioritize your emotional experience and find coping strategies that support your internal and physical functioning. Doing the “good work” is about being intentional with noticing your inner workings and allowing yourself to resonate with your humanity.

Who does The Good Work support?

The Good Work provides therapy services to women only.

Does The Good Work only work with women of color?

The focus of The Good Work is to support all women, however we do specialize in providing validating and inclusive care to women of color, who tend to be under served.

What areas of therapy does The Good Work specialize in?

The Good Work specializes in supporting high achieving, highly ambitions women, business owners, entrepreneurs and women in leadership positions.

What therapy modalities are utilized at The Good Work?

The Good Work utilizes Parts Work (Internal Family Systems), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Attachment-Based Therapy and Somatic Therapies.

The Good Work provides therapy services in Colorado.

Yes, we are currently accepting new clients in Colorado.

What can I expect during the first session?

During your first session with Dominique, you will spend your time getting to know each other, familiarizing yourself with Dominique’s style and specialization, and discussing intentions and hopes for therapy. The session will include discussions of frequency, commitment and getting schedule for additional sessions.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes, The Good Work offers a free 15 minute consultation as a brief get to know you and assess fit. For more information, fill out the appointment request form on the contact page.

How long are therapy sessions?

Therapy sessions are typically 50-minutes.

Fees + Service

What are The Good Work therapy rates?

Standard Session at $180/session.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, The Good Work is in network with Cigna and Aetna. We can offer a superbill to provide to your insurance for out-of-network benefits for private pay clients.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

No, we do not offer sliding scale at this time. We do offer limited pro-bono services. Contact us to inquire more.

What payment methods do you accept?

ACH Bank Transfer, HSA, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

When is payment for session due?

Payment is due at the time of service.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please note that cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full session fee.
